Emma Kenton James

Hi, I'm Emma. I am a fully insured, qualified and registered member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), accredited by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and governed by the CNHC Code of Conduct. Throughout my life I often felt very isolated on my path to health. The path that I trod was long, and at times very taxing; looking high and low for answers. It was only after starting my studies in the field of nutrition - and delving deeper into the science behind it - that the following thought kept occurring to me: just because one approach worked for some, should we expect that approach to work for everyone?. The human body is so multifaceted, it's understandable that optimal health and nutritional goals can only be realised when taking all of a person's needs into account holistically. The path to health is not linear. It has its ups, downs and roundabouts. I know now that with education, guidance and support, we can all achieve our health's ambitions. With The Yana Clinic you are not left to find that path alone.


The Yana Clinic works to empower you through education, guidance and support to attain optimal health, strength, self-worth and freedom. We aim to create a community of support, respect and empathy that is needed to take back the reins of your health, and achieve your goals.

The symptom is only ever a small part of the picture. We take a functional medicine approach taking into account your lifestyle, genetics, past medical history, behaviours, habits and goals. The road to a healthier life is not one size fits all, and what may work for some, may not work for others. We tailor an individualised plan to help you move forward on your journey to optimal health, and make sustainable changes.
